Strawberry & Brownie Trifle
1 1/2 cup prepared brownies, crumbled
1 cup strawberries
1 cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar + 1tsp.
1 tsp. vanilla extract
How to make a Strawberry & Brownie Trifle:
Pop mixing bowl in the freezer and allow it to chill for 10-15 minutes to achieve the best results on whipping cream.
Slice strawberries into a small bowl, sprinkle with 1 tsp. sugar. Let them sit and breakdown in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest of the recipe.
Crumble brownies into bite sized pieces.
To make your whipped cream begin with COLD heavy cream straight from the refrigerator. Pour into stainless steel mixing bowl.
Beat on high for 3-4 minutes until cream begins to thicken and sticks on beater.
Add sugar and beat for another 3-5 minutes until fluffy, stiff peaks form- you will know when it is ready when you lift the beater and whipped cream stays on beater.
Add vanilla and mix just until incorporated.
In a pretty glass layer brownie crumbles, strawberries, and whipped cream, repeat.
Top with a sprinkle of chocolate chips if desired.
Makes 2 large servings or 4 small servings.
